Does anyone have experience buying/selling companies related to online sports betting? Even tangentially related would be fine.

I have a fairly large following in the space already, and would be interested in expanding within the industry.

No idea what information you are looking for, but here is my story: We had a deal for sale in the online gaming space for almost a year. Strong revenues, profitable business. But the "big boys" (DraftKing, Caesars, etc) have been lobbying hard in Washington and the state levels, and securing laws, rules and guidelines that serve to shut out the startups.. We had several buyers lined up, but the deals would sink in legal due diligence because of perceived high risks that the business could be shut down overnight due to the stroke of a government officials pen. Out of frustration, the business has been pulled from the acquisition market by the owners.
