Dealflow software

Everyone always mentions dealflow and CRM but I have found some software geared towards managing dealflow.  Does anybody have any experience with such software?  Is CRM just as good?

We are using Trello, have been doing so for a while now, works really well. You can create the stages for the process, cards for each individual deal, upload attachments (accounts etc), make notes/comments as you have any interaction with the vendor, set follow ups etc.
