Running a self-funded search in Pittsburgh focused on acquiring and operating a B2B services or manufacturing/distribution business. I have a background in finance, operations, and M&A, including time at a private equity firm and hands-on experience acquiring and integrating an SMB with 14 Employees. I have been actively searching for over a year with a live proprietary pipeline. Seeking interns looking for real exposure to the acquisition process. Most work is async. Meeting requirement is 1 hour per week. What you will work on: - Thesis development and industry research - Company screening and financial assessment - Target list building using databases and public sources - Drafting and refining direct outreach letters to business owners Best fit for someone who is curious about owning and operating a business someday. Please reach out and we can go from there.

Hi John, I saw your post and applied immediately! I am a first-year MBA student at Tepper and genuinely interested in search funds and business acquisition. I am currently taking Entrepreneurial Alternatives course with Professor Len Caric, which has pushed me further in that direction. Prior to the MBA, I co-founded and ran a company in Indonesia, so I have some sense of what operating actually looks like. I would love to learn from your experience! Warmest regard, Jesica

Hi John, I just submitted my application and wanted to reach out to express my interest. This looks like a great opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to sourcing and evaluating potential acquisitions, and I would be excited to contribute to the search in any way helpful. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to connecting. Best, Colin Fahmy
