Hi, I've been speaking with some search fund entrepreneurs who have a deal that hey want to get funded. They asked me to raise capital. 2 questions.
1. What is industry standard for what I can ask for in return for raising capital for them?
2. When I go to potential investors what is a fair way to get them involved in the deal. They get a preferred return for their capital invested in me. Once they are paid back they don't have an equity share? Or do they continue to hold on to an equity share like 30% the rest we get to keep?
