Anyone have suggestions for best practices when it comes to facilitating deals? I have been getting decent deal-flow with companies outside of my funds search criteria (usually way too small and not in the right sector). Not looking to broker but merely refer deals out and collect a finder's fee. Speaking of finder's fee, I figure 1 percent off of the sales price of the company sounds decent - thoughts? I have seen the Lehman fee structure as well.
