NextServe Capital — Deal Execution Intern (In-Semester, Remote)
Location: Remote (metro NYC optional for occasional in-person work)
Time Commitment: ~15 hours per week (flexible around academic schedule)
Compensation: Meaningful discretionary bonus contingent on transaction close
Start Date: Immediate (targeting interviews this week)
Duration: 3–5 months through expected transaction close, with potential to continue informally on future opportunities
About NextServe Capital
NextServe Capital is an independent sponsor focused on investing in proprietary multi-unit, restaurant, and franchised opportunities. We are entering exclusivity to acquire a restaurant chain with ~40 company-owned locations and are seeking an intern to support deal execution throughout the transaction process.

Role Overview
This internship is 100% focused on deal execution for an active live transaction. The intern will work directly with the partners on all analytics and workstreams tied to the acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain core financial models, including:
Operating model
LBO model
Sensitivity analyses
Capital structure scenario work
Prepare investor and internal presentations
Coordinate and manage key elements of due diligence, including interaction with legal, accounting, lenders, and management teams
Attend calls with various advisors and counterparties
Optional: participate in in-person diligence sessions and management meetings (travel expenses covered)
What We’re Looking For
Ideally a current MBA student, but will consider strong undergraduate candidates
Prior transactional experience is strongly preferred as we want you to be able to take ownership of workstreams
Strong analytical, modeling, and presentation skills
High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual data room management
Ability to manage multiple workstreams with professionalism and attention to detail
Self-starter who can operate with independence while communicating effectively
Logistics
Workload will average ~10-15 hours per week, varying with deal stage
Fully remote; candidates in/around NYC may join optional in-person sessions during holiday break
Schedule is flexible and will always accommodate academic and personal commitments
