Deal before reaching investors

Hi everybody, I have an excellent deal very appropiate for a Search Fund but I haven't approached investors yet. Should I start sending the deal to investors or should I leave this opportunnity and raise the search fund in a traditional manner?

Thank you both for your answers. I was told that the search time was the time the investors use to do the due dilligence of the searcher. That’s why I’m asking and trying to gain as much insight as possible

Gus hit the nail on the head. Finding the right deal is the hardest part. "If you build it, they will come" put together the teaser and start reaching out, you dont want to lose the deal if you have it/can get it under LOI
