Deal Associate Internship (unpaid) Flywheel Effect is a self-funded Search company in the Australian market. We've just completed our first 12 months of searching in our mission to acquire a small business ($2-5m EBITDA). My name is Michael Chew, and I come to Search with more than 20 years of operational experience in business transformation and running a small business. In 2022 we expect to: +Speak directly with 300 new companies +Assess 10+ deals per month +Submit an LOI every two weeks You will lead these key processes and will have a material impact on determining which deals advice: +Summarise investment memorandums +Complete initial diligence screening +Assessing risks and mitigants +Assessing the competitive landscape +Industry research and analysis +Financial modelling Who's a good fit? Helpful experiences: +Small business or general management experience +Deal and\or financial modelling experience +Assessment of the risks associated with business acquisition +Buy or sell-side diligence What's in it for you? We will work closely to discuss and debate target companies', building your understanding of "ideal" company characteristics, opportunities and risks.
