Deal analysis practice?

I'm currently searching in a smaller market for manufacturing and distribution businesses. There aren't a lot that fall into my buy box due to my financial and location constraints. However, I'd like to get more practice reviewing businesses. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get my hands on more financials to analyze? I know that, similar to buying a house, you need to familiarize yourself with the market to understand what is good. I'm worried I'll miss something great just because of my inexperience/ lack of an opportunity to practice.

Hi Jonathan, you can start to review this in a CIM but that won't be full financials. Feel free to DM me separate and I can put you in touch with some brokers and CPAs in St. Louis that might be of some assistance

You can view 45k sample transactions on Searchfunder here: www.searchfunder.com/bvr It would be fun to gamify this and see how far off your valuation is from what the buyer actually paid.
