Good Morning All-

Are there any searchers, now operators, willing to discuss in private their day-to-day life as an operator, and the types of tasks that occupy most of their time? Preferably those coming from white-collar backgrounds and now operating companies with $750K EBITDA / SDE and above.

Feel free to drop your number or email, or reach out at###-###-#### / redacted a lot out there on the actual search process, but not nearly as much on the day-to-day life as an operator.

This really depends on what the previous owner was doing, and to what extent you have to fill their shoes. It could be anything and I don't think you can generalize it all that much. For example if I explained my current role as an operator it is hard for me to imagine any other operator with very similar responsibilities. Which is why so much of search is finding the right "fit" between you and the business you are buying.

The operator stream at ETA forum Sydney was great thanks to ^redacted‌ and team designing real sharing sessions from searchers down that journey. Conferences can be hit and miss but there are decent ones out there
