Data on self funded searches

Curious to know if anyone has come across a good source of data on self funded searches. The Stanford study is great but it only really addresses the funded side. It would be great to know average returns, deal sizes, deal volumes, % of failed searches, etc. Has anyone found any good resources on the self funded side?
