Current Operators - Web Dev Resources?

Question for the operators out there - have you done a low-lift refresh of your website after acquisition? Something other than the full blown new brand identity / new DBA / new marketing collateral push, but rather bringing your website into the modern era in terms of look and feel and back-end architecture for future updates. If so, who did you use or who would you recommend?
We're 100% B2G so web traffic is not a key component of the business, but I do wonder if the poor look and feel of our current site is an impediment elsewhere - e.g., recruiting.
Appreciate any recommendations!

And here are my 10 cents: A fancy website won't inherently get you more business, but it IS your window to the world. This is where you send people who want to know more about your business, and where potential employees go to find out more about you. I think everyone should have a respectable website in 2024.
With that said, there is no need to spend half your EBITDA on website development. It doesn't sound like you're expecting it to be your main revenue driver, so do the bare minimum. I've used https://www.designcrowd.com/ before to get a design for a couple of 100 bucks - and then you can find someone on Upwork to build and maintain it for you.
There are also usually plenty of local resources if you prefer to be more face-to-face. There are almost no barriers to entry in web design, especially not at the level you're looking. You should be able to find someone who can do the whole thing for $1,000 or so. Especially if you get your design from designcrowd.
Hope it helps!
