I'm currently an MBA student at NYU Stern and also work as a credit analyst at Moody's Investors Service during the day following business and consumer services companies. My background has primarily been in investment research, with a been towards value oriented investing. Looking to use the MBA to transition towards entrepreneurship through acquisition.

I am currently planning a Class Credit full term research project that I would like to answer the following questions:

1. Do certain pre search fund positions, such as consulting or investment banking lead to a more successful search and ultimately a successful or unsuccessful exit for themselves and the investors?

2. If a certain profession leads to a better exit-is it because they were better at picking or because they were better at managing?

If you would be interested in a discussion, please reach out to me at --@----.com

Best,

David
