Thanks ^redacted‌ for the tag. I started with a former corp dev checklist, modified it for my deal, and continued iterating until it met my needs. Deals are snowflakes - so the checklists that get them to the finish line will be also, at least in my experience. It's helpful to start with a generic template, but now that can come from ChatGPT or Claude with a few prompts and iterations.

We offer checklists to our buy-side clients. Also, several checklists can be generated by the LLM tools. The real trick is knowing how to use the list and prioritizing the requests, without losing momentum on the deal.
