Considering raising funds from investors for commercial plumbing

Looking at $5M commercial plumbing business. We're planning to self-fund with 80% SBA but considering funding it through investors. has anyone done this?

Thanks Luke, I have not funded or evaluated funding plumbing this way. We are going to start up with personal capital and a small business loan.
