Hi all - I'm planning to launch a traditional search fund in May as a springboard to a long-term holding company. I've been fortunate to connect with several search fund investors and family offices, but I'd love to further network with investors well-versed in what Stanford calls the "long-term hold model."

My investment thesis contemplates a regional buildout in a particular industry vertical, with the potential for significant multiple expansion once certain scale is reached. If this is something that might resonate with certain investors, I'd love to connect to learn more about your firm and share a bit about myself and what I'm aiming to do. Please let me know, thanks!

Best,
Manas

Thank you for the tag ^redacted‌! Always nice to se my name in lights! Great to meet you ^redacted‌, ^redacted‌ does a great job describing legal structures and concepts - so I cannot compete there. But I can gladly connect and add perspective from the accounting/finance side. Happy to chat when/if you'd like to.

Hi, ^redacted‌. I’ve never really called it a holdco, but I suppose I’m doing an informal version of what you describe. I’d be happy to chat…including in-person as it appears you might be in Dallas or by phone/video if you’re elsewhere. Please DM me if of interest.
