Hi all — I’m a independent/fractional consultant and operator based in northern Massachusetts, and I’m looking to become more connected with the search fund, small business, and investing ecosystem across Northern New England. After several years at Bain & Company, an MBA, and working in operations and finance leadership roles in a technology/logistics company, I've migrated into working with small businesses, family offices, and Micro-cap to LMM PE groups on work spanning due diligence, strategic budgeting & performance improvement, pricing and product portfolio management, and ERP integration to name some recent examples. Opportunities where a structured, data-driven outside perspective or surge capacity is needed on critical projects or company scale and long-term needs may not yet justify full-time hiring often are worth the discussion. My primary goal here is relationship-building however. Through this work, I am often asked by small businesses on other recommended advisors, brokers, accountants, attorneys, investors...etc across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and northern Massachusetts. I’m hoping to better understand who is active and local in the region, learn from others’ experiences, and become a useful connector for people and opportunities across the ecosystem.
