Hello everyone — happy to be back here. I’d like to share an opportunity involving a Canadian SaaS business that I’m representing on the sell side. It’s a small company with a strong niche positioning and a highly sticky product. To share some more context, the opportunity is a B2B SaaS company that sells software components and libraries to enterprise and SME clients since the 90's. Their APIs are deeply embedded in the internal and external applications of major organizations, serving as mission-critical software infrastructure. * They operate within the defensible and sticky .NET ecosystem and invest meaningfully (from their P&L) into R&D to continue improving the scalability, security and robustness of the current product portfolio. * 40% of of revenu come from Entreprise, notable clients include Oracle, GE, BlackRock, Toyota and Chevron among others Fortune 500 companies. * In addition to a strong product and client base, the business has built a valuable distribution channel that can support future development or cross-sell opportunities. * Financially, the business generates $260K in sales and $150k in EBITDA with a 60% margin. * Owners are semi-active in the business and rely on the team for the day-to-day operations. * The owners are looking for a buyout as they approach retirement.
