Hi all-
I imagine it's difficult for any one searcher to compare $###-###-#### /mo bookkeeping services to $###-###-#### /mo services. I'm hearing most providers talk about pricing on a volume-of-transactions basis, so probably most people experience price increases as the business grows.. But does anyone have direct experience moving from one provider to another and finding meaningful differences to justify the higher priced services?

Chris - for $300/mo you're probably getting basic bookkeeping offshore with no manager review. That cheap might not have good service or give you an accurate balance sheet post close - I've seen a lot of searchers DIY or cheap bookkeepers that don't know how to stand up a balance sheet and do a solid chart of accounts. Generally when you spend more you're getting improved service and a senior accountant reviewing. FWIW - we charge $###-###-#### /mo but that includes bookkeeping, business taxes, and personal taxes.

Chris, I'm happy to chat with you if you want to give me a call. It comes down to understanding your needs and level of comfort (i.e. volume of transactions, complexity of business, your level of understanding the numbers, future plans, etc.)
