I am preparing the launch of a new venture ecosystem that will include for-profit and not-for-profit entities. Because of the significance of the mission that must be accomplished without revenue or profit, we are looking for donations from "Founding Patrons" upfront. There will be investment opportunities later on, which we would want to preserve for those who donated upfront. Has anyone worked with a combined donation/equity/debt funding stack?
