I seem to get no replies to my emails. Is it just that hard?

Good marketers make it look easy because they're focused on delivering value and presenting an easy to consume value prop across all channels. For cold email to really work, your branding and copy need to be razor sharp across email, LinkedIn, website, X/Twitter, and other public facing social media. You use these to create a funnel of interested buyers, from there you zero in on your target.

You cannot rely on email alone, you need to approach this wholistically since you're ask is massive: "sell me your businesss."

Lots of great advice in the thread. It's definitely a mix between a numbers game a constant iteration of your subject lines and messaging. Days of the week and times email go out are also variables you can play with. You need to just keep dialing it in until you find what works. The other thing to remember is certain demos and industries will have lower responses to emails (some might not check emails at all!) So adding in other touchpoints can help get you noticed.
