Cold calling VA for search

Does anyone have experience working with cold calling VAs or agencies? If so, how were your results? I’m running a targeted search in a very specific industry, but I’m also managing the rest of my search and my job. The idea of having a good cold caller schedule calls with owners sounds great in theory, but I’d love to hear about any real world experiences.
