Considering a purchase of an existing clinical lab/diagnostic services (e.g. Quest Diagnostics) franchise. Projected growth looks good at $468B by###-###-#### CAGR of 6.9% during the forecast period###-###-#### and phlebotomists salaries are reasonable (similar to plumbers).

Anyone in the community have any experience or insights into this type of business that they can share?

Unless I’m misunderstanding your business model, phlebotomists are only one of the lower level roles you’ll need to account for in running a CLIA lab. If you have a good sales team, my advice is to automate everything you can and watch those SLAs vs overtime pay for your med techs to deal with the backlog.
