Overview
We’re seeking a highly motivated Chief of Staff Intern to work directly with the Founder & CEO and gain full visibility into how a company is grown and scaled from the inside.
This is an unpaid, high-exposure internship designed for someone who wants a front-row seat to execution across multiple growth strategies, team coordination, and founder-level operations. You will shadow the founder, support day-to-day operations, help oversee an interim team of ~20 contributors, and assist in hiring and onboarding efforts.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how decisions get made at the top, how growth engines operate in parallel, and how teams are coordinated in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
Founder support & shadowing
• Shadow the Founder & CEO across meetings, planning sessions, and execution workflows
• Translate founder priorities into action items, timelines, and follow-ups
• Prepare summaries, internal updates, and execution trackers
• Support day-to-day operational execution as needed
Team coordination
• Support coordination of an interim team of approximately 20 contributors
• Track deliverables, deadlines, and ownership across teams
• Assist with weekly check-ins and task management updates
• Help maintain clarity and momentum across a fast-paced team
Growth execution visibility (5 strategies)
• Support execution across four parallel growth strategies
• Maintain visibility into progress, KPIs, and blockers
• Assist with organizing dashboards and weekly execution summaries
• Observe and support testing, iteration, and scaling efforts
Hiring & onboarding
• Assist with hiring coordination, candidate tracking, and scheduling
• Support onboarding of new team members
• Help organize internal resources, documentation, and access for new hires
• Exposure to management (in partnership with founder)
Operations & systems
• Assist with internal operations, systems, and workflows
• Help keep tools, trackers, and documentation organized
• Step in to execute where needed to keep the business moving
Who you are
• Highly organized, reliable, and proactive
• Strong communicator with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
• Interested in startups, growth, operations, or entrepreneurship
• Tech-comfortable (Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, project tools)
