Psychogeriatric Services (PGS) is expanding access to mental health services for patients and residents at approximately 300 nursing homes and assisted living facilities in MD, VA, DC, and PA. We employ more than 100 highly-qualified experts who provide mental health counseling, medication management, and other evidence-based clinical care. Our comprehensive mental and behavioral health services include psychiatric assessments, medication management, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, hospital placements, educational training, and more.
PGS is seeking a Chief of Staff to work directly with our CEO on high-priority strategic initiatives related to growth, provider relations, healthcare quality management, and financial reporting. This is an ideal role to gain entrepreneurial, executive experience in a growing, mission-driven behavioral health company.
Responsibilities
* Growth/Strategy: Collaborate with CEO and VP of Business Development to develop strategies for geographic expansion and corporate partnerships with owners of long-term care facilities.
* Provider Relations: Survey providers to identify and implement recruiting process and provider relations improvements.
* Data Analysis: Analyze billing data to create management dashboards, assess productivity, and identify revenue cycle management opportunities.
* Quality Management: Support Compliance Officer initiatives to improve training and quality management efforts.
* Governance/Reporting: Develop reports for the PGS Board of Directors.
Qualifications
* Motivation: Desire to improve access to behavioral health services for vulnerable, underserved patients.
* Career Goals: Ideal role to build experience for a top MBA program or to prepare you for entrepreneurial endeavors.
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or another relevant field from a rigorous program.
* Experience: 2-4 years.
* Personality: Motivated, yet humble with a high EQ and strong organizational skills. Must be excited about both high-level strategy and the gritty details of building a business.
