I’m working with the owner of an established, growing home services business in the Chicago suburbs that is looking for the right person to step into a day-to-day operating role. The business is approaching $4M in annual revenue, has an established team and operating infrastructure, and is at a point where the owner wants to spend more time on broader growth initiatives rather than managing daily operations. We’re keeping the structure intentionally flexible and are primarily focused on finding the right person. Potential arrangements could include: - GM/operator role with meaningful upside - Performance-based equity - Opportunity to invest/buy into the business - Potential path to acquiring the business outright The ideal person is highly operational, moves quickly, communicates exceptionally well, and is comfortable solving problems in a fast-paced service environment. Home services experience is helpful but not required. This could be particularly compelling for a searcher who wants to step into an operating role, build a track record, and potentially earn or invest into ownership over time.
