Changeover from auditor to start-up/search fund

Hi All

I currently work as an auditor at a Big Four firm and am looking for a change. I have a natural character inclination toward improving processes, which is why I feel a joining a start-up or search fund would be a good next step for me. Due to the nature of my current role, I don't have too much experience in improving processes to back this up (but I do have valuable accounting experience).

Can anyone provide any tips on how I can make this transition (from auditor to finding my fit in a start-up/search fund)?
