CEO opportunity - Marine Concepts

We are excited to post a CEO opportunity with Marine Concepts, an enthusiast brand platform specializing in the production of innovative boat covers based out of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. The business is growing rapidly (20%+ YoY), with a differentiated product, enthusiast customer, and attractive economics. Further, Marine Concepts is actively exploring M&A opportunities to expand into adjacent categories. Partnering with Marine Concepts is Kanbrick, a long-term investment partnership that buys, builds, and grows great businesses. Kanbrick is searching for a CEO of Marine Concepts to execute on near-term organic growth opportunities in the cover business, while building and driving a long-term vision and strategy for the broader platform. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of building a clear strategic plan, delivering financial and strategic goals, and creating a culture focused on accountability and continuous problem solving. They will have high emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and create followership with internal and external stakeholders. Through effective leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills, the CEO will have demonstrated the ability to attract, develop, and retain a strong leadership team as well as employees across the organization. Additional experience: Demonstrated P&L leadership Demonstrated experience building a dealer network Commercial leadership in sales/marketing and strategy development Experience working in branded consumer products is important; experience and a passion for Marine products is desired. Location - strong preference for Florida, or Lake of the Ozarks, MO, or Nashville TN or Charlotte NC based on current distribution of team, but open to discussing further for qualified candidates in other prime locations in the Midwest and South-East US for marine activities..
