As CEO, you will be the driving force behind the acquisition, integration, and scaling of multiple HVAC service firms throughout BC. You’ll translate strategy into action, turning stable legacy operations into market‑leading, technology‑driven, and culture‑focused organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long‑term growth roadmap, ensuring alignment with investors and stakeholders.
- Profit & Performance: Optimize P&L, streamline costs, and drive healthy margins across field operations and support functions.
- Integration & Operations: Oversee M&A deal execution, post‑close integration, project management, scheduling, and workforce deployment.
- Culture & Talent: Cultivate a resilient, customer‑obsessed company culture that attracts and retains top HVAC technicians in a competitive labor market.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the public face, building trust with clients, community partners, suppliers, and capital providers.
- Board Collaboration: Partner closely with our advisory board on M&A diligence, operational playbook enhancements, and growth initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Leadership Credentials: MBA or comparable senior‑level experience in high‑growth, acquisition‑driven environments.
- M&A Expertise: 5+ years in private equity, consulting, or corporate development with hands‑on transaction and integration experience.
- Scaling Track Record: Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and rapidly expand operations after acquisition.
- Project & Stakeholder Skills: Strong aptitude for negotiation, project oversight, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
- HVAC Savvy: Direct experience in, a deep appreciation for, or large interest in, the HVAC industry (installation, maintenance, service).
- Operational Systems: Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar frameworks and emerging automation tools.
- Network & Grit: Established connections in the trades or M&A world, combined with humility, resilience, and a determined mindset.
