We're a team of seven professionals -- including CPAs, finance leaders, engineers, accountants, and experienced operators -- with backgrounds spanning accounting, operations, private equity-backed companies, M&A, and business transformation. We typically partner with Searchers in two phases:
Before and during a transaction, we provide transaction accounting and financial diligence support, including buy-side and sell-side Quality of Earnings (QoE), adjusted EBITDA analyses, financial cleanup, lender- and investor-ready reporting, transaction readiness, diligence support, data room preparation, deal structure analysis, and post-close accounting integration.
After closing, we become an extension of the finance team. Our work ranges from bookkeeping and month-end close to controller services, fractional CFO support, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, lender reporting, accounting systems, internal controls, process improvement, and cleanup projects for businesses that need a stronger financial foundation.
We especially enjoy working with Searchers who view finance as a strategic advantage rather than simply a compliance function. Whether you're evaluating your first acquisition, under LOI, navigating diligence, or scaling the business after closing, we'd much rather get involved early than try to fix problems under a tight deadline.
Our engagements range from fixed-fee projects (QoE, diligence support, transaction readiness, cleanup, systems implementations, etc.) to ongoing monthly accounting, controller, and fractional CFO relationships. We tailor our involvement based on where you are in your search (or ownership) journey.
