Calibration Services...anyone focused on this?

Hey everyone! I've been doing these deep dives on sectors that feel overlooked in the ETA space. Last week's was Industrial Calibration Services. Just curious if anyone is actively searching in that domain to get feedback? Specifically around leveraging the publicly available database that A2LA publishes (felt like a gold mine for off-market outreach).
If you're not familiar with the space, brief overview below. Much deeper dive at https://buyingfreedom.beehiiv.com/p/800-mom-n-pops-one-public-list
Business Model:
Equipment-intensive manufacturers (pharma, aerospace, defense, auto) are legally required to have their instruments calibrated on a set schedule mandated by their respective governing body. A small calibration shop shows up annually, tests and certifies every instrument, and issues a traceable certificate. Customers don't switch vendors because switching requires revalidating their entire quality system. Recurring revenue, low CAC, high retention. A 3-tech shop typically runs $350K–$500K in topline with 40–50% SDE margins.
Deal Sizing / PE:
Multiples on sub-$1M SDE businesses appear to be running 3–4x on active listings. Really only two apparent PE / Strategic players: Accredited Labs (backed by Incline Equity) & Transcat (TRNS)...Accredited seems to be the most aggressive, raising a $300m follow on in October '25 and has been on a buying spree - completing 31 acquisitions since the initial platform acquisition in June###-###-#### Transcat is a little more lumpy & deliberate, focusing on less frequent, larger deals. Given they're public, there is a clear track record of ~8–15x exit multiples for these shops at scale. The sub-$1m shops feel structurally below Transcat & Accredited's acquisition threshold.
Sourcing Angle:
A2LA publishes a fully searchable public directory of every accredited calibration lab in the country 800+ organizations, filterable by state, discipline, and commercial availability. Name, location, contact info, and scope all included. Essentially a pre-built off-market outreach list.
