I'm considering working with a buy side advisor to helps source off-market deal flow. Looking into few different firms (Calder, Harvey & Co, etc) but trying to figure out if they are worth the $$. Would love to chat with anyone who has experience working with these types of firms.

Thanks for tag ^redacted‌. I may be a little biased, but having provided buy side services only (except for a rare few occasions) for 18 years and having helped many different types of buyers find and support them in buying off market businesses, it is the only way to go. We spend over 50% of our time hand holding the seller, something you can’t do on your own. We know what skeletons to look out for, as well as we continue to market all through the process. Most individuals get so involved in the one deal they find and when it dies they do the hills and valleys ordeal, starting over from scratch.
We have plenty of references but only take on well qualified and those with enough experience to be successful.
