Buy-and-Build Origination Intern

Buy-and-Build Origination Intern Remote or Mayfair, London. Part-time or full-time for min. 4 to 8 weeks. Immediate start. I run an operator-led acquisition platform focused on buying and growing UK SMEs. My background includes building and leading businesses from zero to over $1bn in revenue, scaling teams to more than 8,000 employees, and six years at McKinsey. I am looking for an exceptional student or early-career operator to work directly with me and take the lead on sourcing a buy-and-build platform. This is not a passive research role. The work will involve building target lists, identifying owners, running outreach, calling companies, following up, qualifying interest, and helping turn fragmented sectors into live acquisition conversations. I handle a significant amount of origination myself for larger targets. For selected smaller platform opportunities, I want someone who is excited to own the sourcing lane with real responsibility from day one. This is best suited to someone genuinely interested in ETA, acquisitions, company building, and outbound execution, and comfortable with ownership, ambiguity, and persistence.
