Hello everyone - what are some tactics that you have used to find a business for sale within your niche market that you would have otherwise not found doing a standard business search (online, contacting brokers, etc.). Curious to know how people are approaching the search.

No need to include details if you don't want but I'm asking to get ideas to refine my methods and become more creative.

Thanks!

Used Linkedin Navigator to identify key decison makers in the sector of interest - then used email extractor software to get as many of these people's emails and reached out directly via email and then followed up with a phone call

When you get a meeting with a business owner. Contact everyone with a business nearby and say you're going to drop in as you're in town. I always had a minimum of 3 face to face visits on any trip.
