5 powerful tips to crack down on unnecessary expenses taking money out of YOUR pocket.
1. Cancel Monthly Payments
- Go to Quickbooks with your accountant. Cancel the many automated services you used to use. ;)
- For one client this cut almost 10% of their operational expenses.
2. Review Contracts Regularly
- Twice a year, work with a CFO to review your vendor contracts for ways to eliminate services you don't use, push back the payment days, or other options.
3. Track Invoices Closely
- Have someone on your team review invoices. Often vendors accidentally ;) overcharge. Reviewing as a discipline is part of having a tight financial process to keep more of your revenue.
4. Streamline Vendors
- Consolidate services to avoid overlapping costs.
5. Negotiate Prices
- Generally, asking feels scary, but a good CFO will help you understand the terms and how to talk to vendors about pricing.
You work hard for each sale, don't lose another cent to unnecessary expenses.
