Business Consulting Shift to AI

Submitted LOI on consulting business. Services include: Alternate Dispute Resolution, Org Effectiveness, and the now infamous DEI. Plus much of their business is federal gov't. Very risky services and risky customer base. I'm a tech guy and have a vision to pivot the company toward AI applications for these services. Would love to hear from anyone doing this or thinking about it.

There's nothing dangerous with legitimate DEI work. You have some temporary risk with CALLING it DEI- rather than it being a normal part of organizational effectiveness. Diversity is a positive contributor to businesses, equity is something all employee want whether they know it or not, and inclusion has roots in federal compliance of merit-based hiring and promotion. Learn more about how the company actually administers DEI to know if they're running it appropriately.
