Has anyone had any luck on the sale side using a business broker for a small business?  May be looking to sell small commercial services company and would like to get some feedback on it.  Purchased a part of the business in 2019 and grew the rest organically.

Brokers are where deals go to die IME. Not that there aren't competent ones...there absolutely are, but many are simply fee collectors who actively work AGAINST a deal getting done. I do a ton of M&A work and do have a small handful of brokers I will take a call from, but generally if I see a business represented by a broker I am immediately out.
