Has anyone had any luck on the sale side using a business broker for a small business? May be looking to sell small commercial services company and would like to get some feedback on it. Purchased a part of the business in 2019 and grew the rest organically.

We sold a SaaS business in###-###-#### worked with two brokerages but ultimately ended up selling to a buyer we met via marketplaces. We liked the brokers we worked with, but ultimately they weren't able to get us a good fit in time.

Have not but can attest that the 15 I've dealt with personally or with my partner over the last 2 years have been pretty poor (from nonresponsive to clueless to trying to cheat us out of previously agreed terms).

Have had plenty of great conversations with ones I haven't had the pleasure with doing direct business with, though. Suppose it depends on how/why you're looking to sell (speed, maximum value, test the waters, cashing out, etc).
