I was recommended FreshSales and found it not to work the way I needed it to. It was difficult to manage how many emails I sent at each stage of my campaign.
I opted to go with HubSpot as a CRM to manage my interns and PersistIQ to manage my email campaign. I have been very pleased with each. Hubspot is free if you are just using their standard CRM and not opting for their marketing or sales tools. Persist has had great customer service and worked with me to build a price point that worked (self funded searcher). They also continue to innovate and provide value. I can't recommend them enough.
