I think it depends on how you want to search, email is the one I have seen the most. You can both do a mass outreach or targeted approach with email. There are also many tools that allow you to run emails campaigns efficiently. I have also heard of people taking a very targeted approach and directly calling potential acquisition targets but I don't know how effective that was tbh. Happy to connect to talk further!
