Hi, I am working to develop a list of Brokers in my area that I can reach out to, to start developing relationships with them. I know people have mixed opinions regarding the value in this, but if you're one of the people who have done it, I was curious: - How have you developed your broker lists - What did you include in an outreach email when you first contacted brokers?

^redacted‌ we have built tons of lists for our searcher clients of brokers and businesses meeting their acquisition criteria. We used publicly available directories, Sales Navigator, and other platforms to identify leads. Where contact information wasn't available, we dug in and obtained it through our educated methods.

Have a geographic and industry focus. Then tell that personal story and focus to relevant brokers. Brokers hate searchers right now, stand out by not email blasting 1000 brokers a generic “I’m looking for one great business for the long run” line
