Hi All!

Does anyone have any information or insight into how searchers fund benefits during the search phase using a traditional search model? E.g., are searchers doing a Self-Employed 401(k) and/or receiving health insurance? Does anyone have cost estimates?

Thanks!

There's a difference between benefits for yourself (individually or as the owner of the search fund entity) and employees. The cash flow is a question as well, how does a 401k figure in if there's no income yet...?

During a search,p I imagine healthcare could be covered under COBRA from a previous employer. Similarly, marketplce insurance plans should be accessible.
