Becoming a broker/finder

Hi everyone,

After working for a search fund and learning how to conduct a search, how to contact potencial sellers, what types of companies do search funds look for... I'm thinking about start brokering deals. The idea is to start building deal flow, and develop relationships with several potential buyers (e.g. search funds, family offices...).

Any advice on doing that?

First, check into the states that you will be working in. Many states require that you are licensed if you will be working as a broker.
