Purchasing Banks and Credit Unions is a highly regulated process. If you are considering doing so, there are a lot of steps you need to go through to be sure you and your team will be qualified to acquire such institutions, and you should likely start those steps prior to seeking opportunities. Again, it is a specialized industry and I don't think you are going to see any Banks or Credit Unions represented here like other small to mid-sized businesses because of that.

Thanks Luke for tagging ..This would fall under MSB( Money services business ) guidelines which is a highly regulated space .Unfortunately I dont have experience with MSBs however I would recommend to engage with consultancy firm early in process to have a clear road map and understanding of next steps.
