There are many tools available online. Can anyone recommend an online background check tool that produces the most comprehensive results? I'm looking to do some BG check on biz owners. Thanks.

I have an ex Government and Homeland security guy who does extensive background checks. I don’t remember the exact price for each. But he is willing to work with startups. I can PM you his direct contact info.

The best way to assess and really understand the business owner is to find their social media. You want to know their psyche, fears, desires, how they operate under pressure because you’ll likely be working with them for 6-36 months during the transition period.

Background checks let you know whether or not their clean. But more importantly is do our attitudes mesh?

You want to leverage your knowledge of the owner in negotiations to set up a deal that not only satisfies the seller but creates the best possible terms for you and your team.
