Hi everyone! I'm diving back into search after spending 2 years building my own company from scratch. This time, I'm doing some of the grunt work on behalf of my husband, as my business is now requiring less of me and I have time that he doesn't. So... whats new since Fall 2023?? I'm seeing things about hefty seller financing being a near requirement; obviously AI is changing the game in all kinds of ways; a renewed appreciation for owner-operators (maybe that's wishful thinking?)... anyone that's been around for a few years have any other insights to help get me up to speed? What are the oversaturated markets right now (besides SaaS, obviously)? Any new lenders, service providers, or other groups should I know?

One development to catch up on is the changes to the SBA 7a lending program that took effect this June. Some good discussions on it.

Would love to have a conversation on lending if you may use the SBA program. Reach out at redacted if interested. Good luck on the renewed search.
