Hi all, I’m currently evaluating a niche specialty construction company on the East Coast that specializes in rigging and construction services for financial institutions, particularly ATM-related work. ATM projects often serve as the entry point for the company to provide additional construction and facility-related services to financial institutions. However, rigging ATMs are their primary business. Really like the seller and the company that he has built (60 Employees) over the years. I’m curious if anyone has experience in this industry or has relevant insights into the space. My biggest question is around the long-term durability of the ATM-related business and whether the industry may already be past its peak. With the continued decline in cash usage, increased adoption of digital payments, and the potential impact of cryptocurrency and other emerging payment technologies, I’m trying to better understand the long-term demand outlook. That said, the broader financial-institution construction services could potentially provide diversification beyond ATM work. Any industry experience, insights, or perspectives would be greatly appreciated.
