ASE Partners | Proprietary Sourcing and Outreach for Searchers
I’m Olaoluwa, a student at the University of Texas at Austin currently working at a search fund. While working in the search process, I saw how fragmented proprietary sourcing can become. Searchers often have to move between databases, spreadsheets, contact providers, email verification tools, and outreach systems before they can have a meaningful conversation with an owner. I built ASE Partners to bring that process into one workflow. ASE helps searchers: • Turn a plain-English acquisition thesis into a targeted company pipeline • Score companies against industry, geography, size, ownership, and other criteria • Research each company and explain why it may or may not fit the thesis • Identify relevant owners and senior decision-makers • Verify contact information and prioritize person-specific emails • Create company-specific outreach that users can review and edit • Find business brokers and M&A advisors whose deal flow matches the search thesis • Identify relevant associates and vice presidents at those firms • Track sourcing, review decisions, contacts, and outreach in one place I’m opening a small number of live Thesis Challenge sessions for active searchers.
