I’m a 11-year U.S. Air Force veteran, currently working as a DOD overseas contractor, transitioning roughly September 2026, considering search fund as a next career. I’m looking to partner with a searcher/firm as an operator and bring equity to a deal. Just a brief background I have previously started and operated a logistics company for 6 years. Ultimately, lack of capital was the downfall to my start-up. Most of my military experience is within the Aerospace and Defense sector as you can imagine. Although I know these skills can be transferred to other industries. I’ve been learning about the ETA path since lateredactedDebating how should I go about an acquisition. I have decided that I would like to be an operator that has an equity stake. In states I reside in Huntsville, Alabama, but I am open to operating elsewhere. I would love to connect with current/past searchers (and investors) who would be interested in a possible partner deal. I am also open to general advice/suggestions from more seasoned searchers, operators and investors as well.
