Hello everyone I am Lorenzo, an Engineering and Management Student. I've been working for Search Fund Club since October.
I often have thoughts about how this model functions in a country's economy, in my humble opinion I think that the search fund model unlocks value which would have been lost, especially because often the owner of the company that will be bought is old and even without a son/daughter who can carry on the business.

What are you thoughts about that?

Yeah, I feel the same way. Even when we disregard scenarios where owner doesn't have heirs at all, search funds make the process of succession smoother in companies - since scenarios where owner's kids are not fit for running a business can be avoided.

Hi there, I agree with you. The country where we are based (Italy) is a great example of the potential of the asset class, and I am convinced that this is even more powerful in counties with higher GDP growth, such as Eastern Europe for instance.
