Are product companies/brands considered manufacturing?

Take an example like fellowproducts.com - they design the product and contract manufacturers manufacture it, but would they still be categorized in the manufacturing industry?

I'm searching for a physical (not software) product company, but the industry filters seem limiting and outdated.

Consider expanding your search to include wholesale, distribution, and other. You might also want to add seemingly non-related categories if your CPG interests fall into this categories. For example, food brands (with or without contract manufacturing) often fall into food/restaurants, manufacturing, and sometimes other depending on the platform. For your example, some might consider them e-commerce - while they have some wholesale, they are for their size basically DTC e-commerce.
